O Projeto

O Núcleo de Identidades de Gênero e Subjetividades (NIGS) tem mais de 30 anos de história e atua como um espaço formativo que investiga processos sociais, históricos, culturais, políticos e contextuais, tendo como norte as identidades de gênero e subjetividades humanas. Além disso, o núcleo opera como um ambiente seguro e inclusivo para pessoas LGBTQIAPN+.

O projeto de reestruturação visual do NIGS iniciou pela percepção do núcleo estar operando mais internamente, com falta de comunicação estruturada e, por vezes, sem que pessoas externas soubessem se havia funcionamento ou não do grupo, expelindo-as de participarem.

Dessa forma, mirando em novos estudantes, que em sua maioria, são mais antenados ao mundo digital e suas discussões, o projeto veio também como uma modernização da identidade visual. A palavra que conduziu todo o conceito foi: subversão.

Por questões de alinhamentos e agenda, infelizmente o projeto não foi para frente. Mas como gosto muito dele, decidi inseri-lo aqui.

The Project

The Nucleus for Gender Identities and Subjectivities (NIGS) has more than 30 years of history and acts as a formative space that investigates social, historical, cultural, political as well as contextual processes, with gender identities and human subjectivities as its north. In addition, the center operates as a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTQIAPN+ people.

The project of visual restructuring of NIGS started due to the perception that the nucleus was operating more internally, with a lack of structured communication, and sometimes without external people knowing whether or not the group was functioning, driving them away from participating.

Thus, aiming at new students, who, in their majority, are more attuned to the digital world and its discussions, the project also came as a modernization of the visual identity. The word that drove the whole concept was: subversion.

Unfortunately, due to alignment and agenda issues, the project didn't go ahead. But as I really like it, I decided to insert it here.
